Valve announced the launch of Steam Greenlight, a new platform feature that enlists the community's help in selecting some of the next games to be released on Steam.

Steam Greenlight allows developers and publishers to post information and media about their game in an effort to convince the Community that the game should be released on Steam. Greenlight piggybacks on Steam Workshop's flexible system that organizes content and lets customers rate and leave feedback.

We've been working on this feature for the last few months with the input from a group of indie partners, and the response has been extremely positive. With the additional help of beta testers, we are able to launch with a solid line-up of titles for the community to start viewing and rating. And, as we've done with all Steam features, we intend to continually grow and modify Greenlight as more and more developers and community members have a chance to get involved.

Hells High, I hate those guys who make suggestions too, but there aren't Zero ratings, I think that percentage that says 0% Ratings so far is the percentage of the community who already voted, like when you see 1%, It means that 1% of all members of Steam Community already voted

Well considering 0% means little to no ratings, I'm not sure what you are getting at.

What I'm saying is that people are finding these popular games, favoriting them, and not rating them positively. You'd think a game with thousands or tens of thousands of favorites would have more than a 0% rating (which means little or no positive ratings).

Some good mods and indie games are moving in now, which is awesome. Unfortunately there are still some people submitting Need For Speed and Command and Conquer "I DNT OWN DIS BT I WAN IT ON STEAM!"

I don't think people understand how it works either. There are some popular games with over 8,000 favorites, but ZERO ratings.

The fact that everyone can submit a game is a bit annoying.

I have already seen some useless jokes about 'JBMod' and 'Half-Life 3'. And even a submission of Minecraft, after Notch stated he wont bring it to steam.

But most of the submissions are good, and some games look pretty awesome.
