Yet another steam account scam site

For dummies

By Omena 4 years ago

So, yet again I have discovered another steam account scam site. sigh The site address is www.tournementbestplayer.TK . A "friend" in steam gave me that link and said that go up and look up your ranks. I went to the site, logged in with account details that don't exist.

After you have logged in, it wants you to setup your steamID. It offers you a download, which logically is a virus.

Even though it is a very obvious site, just wanted to let you know about it. :)

Now delete your so-called friend, and tell everyone else on your friends list who knows him that he's a fucking cunt. (:

Well, I really don't care about my stats/rank, so I wouldn't look in tho.

    But thanks for the info!

You think he's fallen for the site and the scammer is using his account to spread the site?

Yeah, most likely, happened to another person too, he was having "login war" with the scammer.

Lol. "Login war". About 2-3 of my friends on Steam have just been scammed just like this. The site is http://steamtournoi.tk/ but they are saying that the moment you click on the site they have your details?

It all starts off where one person does it, maybe thinking they get a free game etc, they then go on the site, tive them account etc, then it tells everyone on the friends list, that site, most of the sites end in .tk, so thats the easiest way to tell if its a scam, well, thats how i tell if its a scam straight away.
