What the hell....
By mileena 4 years agoWell ive had the problem for about a month now...my tf2 file is not there! and when i load up tf2 and play it to bring the file back, its still not there! i really wanna install some new skins, any body know how to fix this??
Is your TF2 folder missing or is TF2 not installed any more?
its missing,but tf2 is installed and working fine. just need the file back :(
Okay, I think you're confusing folder with file. If you don't have "steamapps/username/team fortress 2" folder, blink twice. If you're looking for a specific file in that directory, clap your hands thrice..
lol sorry, the whole folder with the files are all gone. thats what i mean.
Okay, 2 ways of fixing this:
Verify TF2's integrity by going to "Properties > Local Files > Verify blah blah blah"
Or, launch up TF2 and join a random server, preferably one with mods installed so they create more directories.
ok ill do number 1 :) then number 2 ill do tomorrow, its getting late and im getting tired lol
