Source SDK Skybox problem

k just to start off...fpsbanana rly need a forum for source sdk.

now my problem is..iv made a remake of an rp map, and i compile it, checked it for leaks using the "Load Pointfile" function and it comes up with none.

then i go to load my map in gmod and the skybox is all screwed up and everything.. like when you look at it, it mirrors what you see before you look at the skybox.

i originally thought it was a problem with a leak in the map, and as i said before i checked and theres no leaks.

i also took it apon myself to load the Portal File to check for area portal leaks..now i checked for any area portals using the Map -> Entity Report and search for Area and nothing came up..

so my overall questions are:

  1. whats wrong with my skybox and how do i fix this?

  2. can i load the Portal File without any area portals?

and 3. Did i look for the area portals the right way :O?

    There is a forum for Source SDK on this site.

    And for your problem can you upload a pic of the skybox, it will be easier for us to understand the problem.

    Also edit the thread and paste your compile log.

    First sentence fail, Look better maybe ?

    the problem is not of your map its a problem of the texture, choose a other skybox and it will work, prop the name's or path aren't correct, you just need to choose a other skybox. Thats all.

    It's not a leak, it's the skybox texture that doesn't work, what texture do you use? try something like: militia_hdr and see if it works!
