Steam freezing oftenly.

Steam keeps hanging on my PC.

Hey guys, every since I upgraded my OS from Windows 7 enterprise 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit, I've been having a lot of issues with steam. Most of the time, when I try to launch a game, steam just freezes and windows says "not responding". here are the full details:

    It does that to me aswell but i just leave it for a while and it usually starts working, but if not i think there was somthing about it on steam forums aswell or u mite have to reinstall steam

    I use vista and tf2 sometimes freezes and I hit that dumb windows key and it screws up tf2 and screams up steam too but I guess this doesn't help much but just letting you know your not the only one.

    I'v had simular issues as of late.Usualy I get the "Can only run 1 instance of steam at a time."Or Steam is currently running.I usualy just exit again or go into taskmanager and shut it down then restart steam.If the net is down and I don't currently have steam open then it'll just freez.What ever happened to "Play Offline"They were supposed to have?If I tell it to play off line It connects online???If the net is down it tells me can't conect when I choose of line...Go figure.lol.

    Steam is just shit since so many people are trying to trade their virginity for tf2 items all at once.
